Faye Mulheirn is a research- and evidence-based practice leader at a large primary school. Faye leads on the implementation of evidence-based practice across her school setting. Working closely with senior staff, Faye has used EBE’s Great Teaching Toolkit to enable staff to understand the principles of effective teaching and select, adapt and implement classroom strategies in their classroom. Faye has established professional learning communities and used coaching triads to create opportunities for teachers to share their collective expertise and provide feedback on each others’ practice. Faye works with senior staff to ensure that these initiatives are effectively resourced and implemented using a ‘high challenge, low threat’ principle for collaborative practice.
