In this open webinar, Amy Gaunt (Director of Learning and Impact, Voice 21) shares her insights on the importance of oracy, highlighting some dialogic teaching strategies for school leaders, particularly for those in rural or small school settings.

Amy Gaunt is Director of Learning and Impact at Voice 21, the UK’s oracy education charity which works with schools across the UK and worldwide. A former primary teacher, she has supported thousands of teachers and hundreds of schools to embrace oracy in their pedagogy and curriculum and is the co-author of Transform Teaching and Learning through Talk: the Oracy Imperative.

Impact is the termly journal of the Chartered College of Teaching.  It connects research findings to classroom practice, with a focus on the interests and voices of teachers and educators.  It supports the teaching community by promoting discussion around evidence within the classroom, and enabling teachers to share and reflect on their own use of research.
