Research engagement self-assessment toolkit for schools

1 min read

Researchers from UCL Institute of Education, Sheffield Hallam University and Durham University have developed a set of self-assessment tools to help teachers and schools to evaluate their levels of research engagement. These are designed as practical tools to encourage teachers and school leaders to consider their engagement with research evidence, and the areas you may need to develop to deepen and embed this engagement. On this page, you can find the school-level self-assessment toolkit. We hope that you will use it to stimulate conversation and joint decision-making; it is meant to be a collaborative tool. This school-level tool can be used in conjunction with the self-assessment tool for individual teachers.
